We were very fortunate (and ecstatic) to be one of the recipients of the Accelerator (AC) Jumpstart fund. This was the last time this fund was awarded to startups - so lucky of us! The AC fund, funded by FedDev ontario, will not only give us the required seed capital to successfully launch our business, but the AC will also provide us with invaluable mentorship.
The AC helps helps technology start-ups establish and grow their business in Southern Ontario. We're extremely excited to be working with them in the next year to scale our business. We're currently operating out of the Centre for Ocular Research and Education at the School of Optometry and Vision Science (University of Waterloo), so come say hi if you're in the area.
